Shipping policy

All orders are sent from Melbourne, Australia. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed for shipping. While we strive to fulfil orders promptly, we appreciate your understanding in rare instances where delays occur.

Please ensure you have entered your shipping address correctly. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will refund the original order amount but not the shipping fee. If you are not home when delivery is attempted, your parcel may be taken to your nearest post office for collection. If your package is sent back to us due to non-collection, we can try sending it again but you'll be responsible for the additional shipping fee.

Typical Transit Times

  • Standard Domestic (Australia): 2-8 business days.
  • Express Domestic (Australia): 1-4 business days.
  • USA: 5-9 business days.
  • Canada: 9-13 business days.
  • New Zealand: 5-10 business days.
  • European Union: 6-12 business days.

Please be mindful of delays that are outside of our control, including customs clearance, postal centre backlogs and adverse weather events.

Duties & Taxes

Please note international orders may be subject to duties, taxes and customs/carrier handling fees that are outside our control. These are determined by the customs agency in the destination country. See below for more details:

  • United States: All duties and taxes are included at checkout (duty is included within the shipping price). You will not be liable for these upon delivery.
  • United Kingdom: For orders up to £135, VAT is included at checkout and no duties are payable. For orders over £135, you will be liable to pay for VAT and duties upon delivery.
  • European Union: VAT and duties are not included at checkout. You will need to pay for these upon delivery. A customs/carrier handling fee may also apply.
  • Canada: Duties and taxes are not included at checkout. You will need to pay for these upon delivery. A customs/carrier handling fee may also apply.
  • New Zealand: GST (15%) is not charged at checkout. Orders of a very high value where the GST payable exceeds NZ Customs’ collection threshold may be subject to GST and a clearance fee on arrival.

If you refuse to pay any duties, taxes or handling fees that are payable upon delivery, and the item is sent back to Chain Male, we will only refund you the value of the items purchased, not the shipping fee.
